Over the years I have struggled with anger and unforgiveness. I have listened to countless seminars, read articles, listened to preachers, and looked for answers to MY problem. None of those things helped. I've been made to feel that if I don't reconcile with the person or people that wronged me then I have not truly forgiven them. Are we required or expected to always reconcile? Is that always healthy? What if I'm the toxic person and to force reconciliation is a detriment to them? What if it is them who is toxic?
