In case you haven't heard Bitcoin shook off about 50% of it's value last week leaving a whole bunch of people dazed and confused. I just happened to sell most of my bitcoin the week before and turned around and bought a bunch of Ethereum at $4000+. Ethereum was not immune to the selloff, and although I was not 100% in the market at the time, I was enough in the market to have suffered a huge decline in the value of my account. Like, MAKE ME WANT TO THROW-UP huge. I didn't crack, I didn't sell. I just held on for dear life. at one point I had to turn off my phone and computer, go outside and play with my bees. I had to get my mind off of it.  Why did I do this? Because the only sure way to lose your money is to sell your investments when the market is lower than when you purchased them. It just keeps growing. Bit by bit, but growth is growth! Quick Update: So last week I never did a second update even though the robot did open another trade. You can look back at trade #3   and see how it turned out. Trade number 4 was a success in my mind simply because it didn't lose any money. For whatever reason the robot determined soon after opening the trade that it was too risky to stay in it and closed the trade at the same place it opened it. Many folks would probably be upset about that, but it helps give me confidence that it is being very conservative with my money. I'm cool with it. And here it is only Monday and the  GPS Forex Robot 3 opened a trade this afternoon, and the trade stayed open about 5 hours. This was a winning trade and I am now up 1.93% for the month. Elon Musk is hilarious! He pumps Dogecoin for months making many people millionaires overnight in some cases. He really hypes it up. He buys a ton of Bitcoin (in the billions in USD). Tells the world he is accepting cryptocurrency for his car sales. He called dogecoin a hustle on Saturday Night Live, then talks up dogecoin as being the currency of his moon city or something. Now, a few days later it seems he has attempted to crash the entire crypto market with an idiotic tweet about energy consumption in the mining of Bitcoin. Are you kidding me???? This book seems to be one big string of platitudes and quotes about being happy. There, I said it. Now read the rest. This is not a book of quotes. Please don't think that it is only that. Quick update: Trade #3 results are in the red circle to the left. Trade #3 activated today as a buy. Remember, I only allow the GPS Forex Robot 3 to trade the EURUSD pair in order to protect the account from blowing out.  Trade number 3 was a success, though a very low win. I'll take gains without complaint. A win is a win.  In the picture above you can see the results, but just to recap here, it made a $1.12 profit which was a .11% increase to my account. So, today is Mother's Day 2021. Happy Mother's Day to any mother that stumbles upon this post, no matter what day of the year it when you do so. It is Mother's Day and I was able to spend the day with my mom. She lives in a nursing home now, but they did allow her to leave the nursing home today in order to come spend time with her kids and a few of her grandkids in her house that she and dad built back in 1981. It was a good day despite her desire to stay at her house. Please understand that it just is not possible. None of her kids are in a financial position to pay for the type of round the clock care she would need. This is part of why I am mad as hell. Mom and me  My dad was a good man. In my investing and trading career I have used numerous investing platforms. I currently use 7 different platforms on 3 different types of markets. Many trading platforms are just downright overcomplicated. They give traders opportunities to use many different tools on their charts. Options are great, but for someone like me it lends to my desire (if that's what you call it) to completely overthink a trade. The more stuff you give me to analyze a stock, the more time I'm gonna spend doing just that, and will either miss the good entry point or just talk myself out of what turns into a great trade.  So why then do I use so many different platforms? The GPS Forex Robot 3 has made another winning trade without any effort on my part. We are now 2 for 2. A 100% win rate so far. This is not my favorite kind of reading, though I did find Markus to have been a very insightful person. I do believe it is more of a book of observations than meditations. I honestly can't justify this book with a full review because it just didn't grab my attention and hold it. However, I may come back later and finish it, but for now I just need to say it is not my kind of reading.  If you are looking for a free book with free audio that has good worthwhile information about human nature, this may be your book.
